OUR "MUST"

Grant's

SCOTCH GRANT'S

This month we’re focusing upon a Scotch whisky that has been distilled by the same family for the past five generations: Grant’s scotch. It’s a blended whisky with aromas of raisins and peat as well as subtle accents of cocoa and a touch of caramel that give it a harmonious yet complex personality with a perfect nose. According to David Stewart, the Master Blender who has been guaranteeing the quality of Grant’s Family Reserve as well as Glenfiddich and The Balvenie single malts for the past 41 years, the scotch’s long and smooth finish is created by blending the finest malts. The whisky’s fine quality was rewarded with numerous prized including distillery of the year in November 2005 and November 2006 by the International Wine & Spirit Competition, it also won Taste of the Year in 2006 and 2007. In April 2008, Grant’s threw an event to celebrate its new bottle which features a more contemporary, upscale and elegant design. The famous triangular bottle symbolizes the association of water, air and barley – the three essential elements for producing Grant’s Whisky.
